I have not yet installed MC7--still finishing projects using 6.5.2. However as I read about MC7 it seems it does not easily allow use of 1080 60P files---as opposed to 1080 60i or 1080 24P or 1080 30P which easily AMA link and transcode for editing. Is that right?
Reason for question is my wife wants to get a very small camcorder for her use and it seems many of these consumer level camcorders now only offer 1080 60P recording which could then be problematic for my editing.
Also, my Panasonic AG-HMC40 records in AVCHD format which at least MC6.5.2 handles nicely. I have seen some posts reporting problems in MC7 with some camera brand formats so would appreciate any feedback on camcorder brands that use a format difficult for MC7 to handle. Thank you, Dennis
