Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help me on this issue. I CANNOT Step In or Out of a clip by the usual means (hitting the step in/out button) or indeed any means. No matter how hard I try none of my clips will let me step in or out.
I have tried searching google but cannot find anything about this which leads me to believe I am being stupid!
I have opened up another project which lets me step in and out. But I have created a new project and imported clips and the new project wont let me step in or out. I have restarted my Mac. Nothing works. The only things that work are the old projects.
Does this mean my media composer is corrupt or something? Or is there something in the settings I just am not aware about that I need to change? Sorry if this is something simple, I'm new to Media Composer.

EDIT -I figured out that I can still collapse the clip then step in to it, so I'm guessing that it always needs to be collapsed first? I know this probably sound really stupid but I'm coming from Final Cut Pro where you could just click on an item and Nest it.
