I renewed our Avid Expert Plus Edu contracts this June. After several months of waiting the latest flex versioner finally worked and so I upgraded one of our edu dongles.
I then wiped and did a fresh install of the Mac OS and v7 software. Now Avid crashes without launching after sending my browser to an iLok manager webpage, and it appears that the update was for an interplay option - something we have never had before. Does it say that on all upgrades?
Even worse I used the flex versioner file to update another dongle in another suite running MC V6.5.2 and now it says the dongle is incompatible and dongle manager and Avid can't even see it!
Never known things go so wrong on an update!
I woudl appreciate any help or info.
I have 22 systems to update and install with v7, including 8 software activations :(
