Splitting an M2T File

Kumusta! (Hello)

This is a very useful and free solution if you want to import just a portion of a long HDV clip (m2t file). I saw this from an old post in DVinfo.com

1. Get MPEG StreamClip (free!) -- http://www.squared5.com/

2. Open your source m2t file

3. Mark/crop the part you need - (I/O)

4. Save as... use the default .TS filename

5. Rename - simply replace .TS with .m2t

6. Ready for Avid MC import!

Thanks David for the tip! Original post here
