I've got an annoying little bug on a brand new system.
System specs are: Lenovo D30 Thinkstation dual processor 32GB ram, Nvidia Quadro 4000, Win 8 Pro, MC 7, Nitris DX and Proavio EB800MS 16TB Raid5 storage connected via an LSI Megaraid HBA.
I've set the system up as per the Avid Lenovo D30 configuration guide.
On launching Avid at first startup after the system has been fully powered off, I get an error message 'OS Error' when Avid reaches 'Initialising Hardware'.
Rebooting the PC fixes the problem and Avid starts normally.
As I said it's a brand new system and when I installed MC 7 it updated the Nitris DX firmware.
Apart from that the system works beautifully. I haven't tried a re-install of Avid yet - I guess that's the next obvious thing to do. I just wondered if anyone had any ideas.
