Hi,
I had my PC on MC 7.0.0 with Windows 8.0 Pro 64-bit.
A HDV project (1440x1080/50) project I am working on was working fine. I could preview all my clips no problem.
THEN I picked one of the clips, and got a CORE_CONSISTENCY_CHECK_FAILURE error appearing in the bottom left prevew screen.
If I go to pick any other clip than played fine before, I get the same message plus an error dialogue box saying:-
LongGOPDecodeState::Execute()
CONSISTENCY CHECK FAILURE !?! : [2]
If I restarted my PC and Avid and played the non-offending clips, they play fine. If I pick the 'buggy' clip, I get the error, and then the error occurs on all clips.
So, I deactivated Avid, upgraded to Windows 8.1 and then upgraded to Avid 7.0.2. Everything went fine.
However, The above scenario is STILL happening.
I look around other posts to see that Consolidating/Transcoding can help - tried consolidating, but that didn't help.. :(
Can anyone please help?!
Many thanks,
Ian
