I had purchased the Avid Media Composer 6 student version in May. I had to sell the computer it was installed on so I uninstalled it. Now, when I try to install it on a different computer with the sytem ID and the activation number, I get a "101 Activation Failed" message.
Previously I had to verify my identity through a company called identit-e and everything worked fine. I even tryed to re-request an activation ID with them which didn't work.
I can't afford the phone call/being on hold with Avid so I'm trying this outlet. I would love any advice that someone can give. I'd really like to learn how to use Avid and this is the only thing keeping me from doing it. Thanks!
