Currently using the old standard HD - SD offline work flow IE we dig/transcode all HD footage to SD 14:1 for offline then conform HD in online/Uprez.
I've been considering changing work flow to DNX 36 but the file size is still limiting for large series.
Which lead me to option 2. Create Avid H.624 MXF proxys to edit in offline and relink to hi rez master for conform.
This codec doesn't come up at all in Avid 6.5 transcode though? And searching doesn't give me much info outside of AutoIngest and MOG. Is it interplay specific only? Is there a way to turn this codec on in Media Composer?
