ProRes AMA link issue

MC 7.0.2

I just created a small ProRes HQ clip at SD resolution using MPEG Streamclip (on a Mac).  It plays just fine in QT player 10.1

When I AMA link and try to access it I get the following error:

Exception: CDCIDescriptor: :Unknown component width

And no play.

A normal Import does work.

These types of issues seem common with ProRes and AMA.  Any better in the new 7.0.3?
