I'm running Mavericks and upgraded Avid MC to 7.0.3. In the past, running Mountain Lion and MC 7.0.0, I had no trouble AMA linking footage I shot on my Panasonic Lumix GH2. Now for some reason it doesn't work.
I've tried linking to the entire AVCHD package and it links to the clips within, but as soon as I try to play them or transcode from within MC, it freezes and I have to force quit. I've also tried linking to the individual MTS files, but I get an error message saying that I don't have the required AMA plugin...which doesn't make sense for 7.0 since it comes bundled with the AVCHD plugin, right?
Has anyone else had this issue?
