Uninstaller for Pro Tools 10 not working

Hi 

I'm trying to uninstall Pro Tools 10 before upgrading to PT 11 as per Avid's instructions, i.e using the "Uninstall Pro Tools" utility. 

Simply put, I can't get it to work. I'm on Mac 10.9.1. I run the uninstaller, select safe uninstall give my admin credentials and click uninstall and nothing happens. 

I know I can manually uninstall but it seems safer to let the software do it for me. 

I tried changing my System Prefs gatekeeper settings to "Anywhere" in case that might help.. but it didn't. 

Ideas? Anyone else have this problem?
