Right - working with DNxHD 36 in Symphony 6.5.2 on my MacBook Pro Retina. Media is on an external 7200rpm HD via FW800 to Thunderbolt adapter.
Most clips so far in this edit have been working as expected. But I've found a clip that is behaving oddly - I load it into the Source window, select an in/out, then perform the edit (either Overwrite or Insert or drag to timeline, all three deliver the same result) - the clip that's on the timeline is not the same clip.
When I drag to the timeline, the little 'in-out' frames it shows as I place it are correct too, they are from the clip I want.
The filename is the same between the bit on the timeline or the bit in the source window... it's just not the same video.
Pulling my hair out over this one - any thoughts? I'm about to update to 6.5.2.1 just in case that does anything helpful but that's gonna take a couple hours to download by the looks of it.
