modify multichannel audio to MS-Stereo

I get more and more gigs where they recorded in MS-Stero, resulting in 2 track-audio files.

I would highly appreciate a feature that modifies the two MS-audio tracks to one Stereo track.

My current work-around ist to duplicate one track, throw an "invert" sound effect on it and pan the tracks accordingly. Too many time consuming steps for such a simple task ( and the protools sound guys dont like to get these 3 tracks at all!).

Yet I haven't heard about an available audio-plugin for avid MC that does the job using two mono audio tracks.
