Avid. Media. Access. Codec Install Issue

Hi, 

My name is William and I've been frequently using Avid Media Composer 7 a lot more lately and been working to try and understand it from the indisde and out. I bought the Interplay or known as the Student Version a year ago and also found the Avid tutorial series video blogs which teachs Final Cut Pro 7 users how to use Avid Media Composer. In lesson one there is a portion that discusses adding multiple different plugins for the AMA link such as codecs for RED, Canon, Panasonic, Ikegami, ant etc. Each of the plugins should have not problem with installing on my laptop however, everytime I go install all the other programs, it's either saying it cant find any form of Avid Media Composer installed or the version of Avid I have which is (Avid Media Composer 7.0.3 Interplay Edition aka Student Version) cannot support these plugins. My question is, will these plugins for AMA work with the 7.0.3 Student Version of MC 7? If they should, could someone help me out troubleshoot this issue with installing the plugins.
