Hello everyone,
I have AVID on my PC and am trying to switch the account over to my iMac. However, when I try to install the trial file Media_Composer_6.5.2.dmg, my iMac freezes for a moment, goes to the grey crash screen and restarts itself. It never finishes the installation and the two times so far I've tried, it's crashed at different moments of the installation.
Here are the specs of my iMac (if any more information is needed, I can provide it):
iMac Late 2012 Model, 21.5" Display
OS X Version 10.8.3
Processor: 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB
I am not sure why it crashes my iMac. I want to make sure AVID plays smoothly on the iMac before switching over my account from my PC, but if I am already having issues during installation, maybe there are still issues?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
