I'm trying to accomplish a Standard Definition (720x576) 4:3 image into a 1280x720 frame size export .MOV (via Procoder 2).
1st attempt displayed varying degrees of both horizontal and vertical 'blanking' issues as the original material is archive film footage from a multitude of different sources.
2nd attempt 'cropped' them out in Avid - but, the crop is a lighter black than the outer black of the 'Pillar Box'
I'm guessing that the Avid generated 'crop' is in 601 colour space, and the outside 'pillars' created by the Pro-Coder encoding software are at RGB levels???
Q: How can I get the Avid Crop to go blacker? (Already set to minumum levels).
