Tools>Effect Editor>Image>Paint Effect Blurs and Clones are not fallowing the path created by the Tracking Data once they become unrendered.
What is classic is that if I quit the Avid and delete MCState, Site Settings, and Site_Attributes then the blurs and clones will stay on their lovely tracking path once I relaunch the Avid.
Since I am on a Macintosh version 10.6.8 the MCState, Site Settings, and Site_Attributes are located in the Internal Drive>Applications Folder>Avid Media Composer Folder>Settings Folder.
Upon relaunching the Avid, Avid will recreate new versions of the above files.
The system info I am seeing this on - Macintosh Avid Media Composer version 5.5.3.7 - Macintosh OS X version 10.6.8
Some more info about these files:
Site Settings - Are global Defaults that the user can set-up by dragging settings files into it and then by default when a User creates a new project or a new user the Avid will use these settings by default. I used to set these settings up to create fool proof configurations for the Avid.
MCState - remembers the last user and project used.
Amazing
