Hello everybody,
I am trying to find a good workflow to burn a 1080p Blu-Ray.
I have Media Composer 7 Interplay Edition
Sorenson Squeeze 9
Avid DVD by Sonic 6.1.1 643B12A
The working part of my workflow is:
Exporting a Quicktime Reference file from Media Composer
Creating a "Ready to Author" file combo using Squeeze 9 presets.
First I tried the Blu-Ray_24_1080p in the H.264 section.
When I try to import the resulting .264 video file, Avid DVD tells me "One or more file(s) you are importing appear not to be DVD and Blu-Ray compliant and may require transcoding according to your current preference setting.".
Sure enough, when I add the video to the timeline and attempt a BD-25 burn (Wheter I chose to use ffdshow or not), it starts to transcode.
The I tried the Blu-Ray_24_1080p in the VC-1 section.
When I try to import the resulting .vc1 video file, Avid DVD tells me "One or more file(s) you are importing appear not to be DVD and Blu-Ray compliant and may require transcoding according to your current preference setting.".
Only this time, when I attempt a BD-25 burn, it does not transcode but crashes with the error:
"MuxStatusCode: MUX_SN_E_TS_UNDERFLOW_ERR, Buffer underflows".
I tried to find information on the forums, and tried some related suggestions, like making sure that my Frame Size setting in Squeeze was not "Same as Source", but to no avail.
Right now, the only workaround I have is to Author via Easy BD Lite, which works a charm to simply get a movie on a Blu-Ray (Using the Blu-Ray_24_1080p in the H.264 section of Squeeze), but then It won't allow me to build menus.
Of course, everything would be so much easier if I could make the Workflow work using only my Avid Products, and thus, I really need you guys help.
My System is an HP Z400 Gen 2 with a W3690 6-core processor, an intel SSD drive and 24 GB of RAM.
My Video Card is an NVIDIA Quadro 4000 and my drivers version is 331.65.
Let me know if there is any other information I need to provide.
