I hope I'm not asking to reinvent the wheel, but I've not yet found a satisfactory answer in the forums, the documentation, or elsewhere online (or at least nothing that is clear to someone as technically bewildered as I am). I've been looking all afternoon.
Here's what I want to do: I want to preview my timeline playback onto an external HD monitor. I have installed a Blackmagic Intensity Pro card, and I have read vague references to it being compatible with MC7.0, but have not found any explanation as to how to get Avid to recognize the Blackmagic card (or vice versa). There is nothing listed as "Available Hardware" on my Avid system. Is there something I need to do on the Avid end or Blackmagic end, or both? Or is what I am hoping to accomplish even possible given my current setup? If so, I would greatly appreciate being pointed to the right documentation.
