AMA is working really well in terms of importing my Canon XF305 and Sony EX1 footage, all of which was shot 1080p25, but I have two problems:
1) When the project is set to 1080p25, I get the message "No compressed data format found for specified VCID and video format". I did a google search and saw that I wasn't the first person to have this problem but I couldn't find a solution, EXCEPT to change the project format to 1080i50 or 25i, and then the problem went away and it worked ok. However this is 1080p footage and I would like to use 1080p settings!
2) I'm fairly new to Sorenson Squeeze and I've always found it a huge pain that Avid could not create its own compressed footage in the same way you can on Adobe or FCP. I'm trying to export the sequences to Squeeze but I get error messages, can Sorenson not cope with AMA projects?
