How to Limit Avid Media Composer to only 2 Monitors in a 3 Monitor Setup.

Hi Everyone

I am running Avid Media Composer 7 on a Windows 7 64 Bit machine. I have a 3 monitor setup in place, the third monitor being an Optoma HD projector for full screen playback. My two main workspace monitors are connected via DVI to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti Graphics Card. The Optoma HD Projector is connected via HDMI to my onboard Intel HD Graphics 4000 which is embedded into a Gigabyte z77 UP4 TH motherboard.

So my three monitors are all setup and oriented correctly, and I use the Full Screen Playback option on Media Composer to output full screen playback to the Optoma Projector. I am not using any other output device such as a Mojo or AJA. So all this is working alright. Now to my problem.

When Media Composer starts up, the workspace basically extends all the way to the projector (Monitor 3). I want to restrict it to only open on 1 and 2. My reasoning for this is, that everytime I save my work on Media Composer, the SAVE dialog window pops up on Monitor 3, and in the process snaps me out of full screen playback. Then I have to re-select full screen playback to get picture up on the projector again. I have set a keyboard shortcut for this to make it a little easier, but it's just annoying to have to keep doing that.

I have also tried resizing the workspace to limit it to Monitors 1 and 2 only as soon as MC launches before I begin working. The SAVE dialog still for some odd reason pops up on Monitor 3, snapping me out of Full Screen Mode.

Has anyone here faced a similar issue? Any workaround for this? Or any setting within MC that I'm missing?

Thanks.
