Hi, guys!
I know this subject aint a new one, and that there are other threads out there concerning this. Anyhow, they don't seem to lead anywhere.
I just reinstalled windows 7 on one of our 6 suites because it needed a fresh start. I am planning to do the same thing to two of the other oldest suites here. Everything went fine until I tried to open our current project on the newly installed MC and I get:
"Exception: DISK_IO_TIMEOUT, filename (...) .pmr"
"Exception: SYS_ERROR, status_121, msg:The semaphore timeout period has expired."
I click OK and it just goes on like that on ALL the .pmr files. And we do have quite a few.
I have delt with corrupt .pmr files in the past. Then I just rebuilt them from each and every suite that originally made them. However, this is NOT an option now. We are just onlining a 2yr in the making project, and this is not the time juggeling with media offline with all of the suites. + I don't feel like giving in to the demands of this one when the files obviously are fine according to the other machines. The problem seems to be this machine, and we really need it to work.
Any ideas, people?
Thnx!
We are currently working on MC 6.5.3 on all machines up against ISIS 5000.
