Hello all,
Is there a way to enlarge a foreground image on one track while leaving a background image on a second track static? We have a freeze frame clip on V2 and have masked the person standing in the center of the clip with Animatte, then used 3D Warp to increase the mask size until the person fills the screen. We have placed the non-matted freeze frame clip on V1 and are attempting to keep that clip static (no movement on the background) as the V2 masked clip increases in size, but to no avail.
We have tried several effects-nesting combinations but have had no success. I thought maybe a video mixdown, or export of the V2 clip with the Animatte/3D Warp applied might be an option but it looks like you can't retain the alpha channel with either of those choices. I haven't tried it yet, that's just what I've read on the forums.
So is it possible to do this? And if so, how? My editor really wants me to figure this out in Avid, not AE, so any assistance would be most appreciate.
