I'm getting this error on a few Bins when I try to save them.
I have tried creating a new bin, copying content to that new bin, but I'm still having the problem. With thousands of item in that bin, divide and conquer is not super tempting.

I have. Mac Pro 5.1 running Mojave and protools ultimate 2020.
I installed the HD Native PCIe in the slot 2 and afterwards I move to slot 3 .
Mojave doesn't recognise the drivers so this mean I can not use the card no conectes at all.
in Mojave preference system show me the card installed but it's says that doesn't have any drivers .
I installed all the drivers from avid master account but nothing
can somebody help me with that?

Anyone else seeing this? Add mocha pro avx effect to a clip and open the plugin. Do some work. Save Mocha and close. Upon close Mocha crashes and then so does Avid, losing all the work.
I'm also unable to export from within Mocha as the usual Quicktime export settings box doesn't appear when I go to export.
This is on the most recent release of Mocha. I've spoken to Boris and they don't have an answer other than to wait for the next update which should be soon but interested to know if anyone else has seen this?
System specs on the profile are up to date.

Here is the list that is being worked on for MC 2020.12 and the Titler+ feature. I have included items in in bold below with some added details if I had access to them.
NOTE: Since we’re still testing these through Beta, so some items could change a little depending on Beta feedback and results.
The Selection Modes address the biggest complaints from the community......
* New Selection Modes – Text Mode and Move Mode
Text Mode - When in TEXT mode, you can type anywhere and create a text layer at that location. You can also return to an existing text layer directly to make some changes.
You can exit typing by simply pressing escape, turning OFF text or select move mode.
Move mode - In that mode, you cannot edit text. This is to make sure you change the position and other attributes of your text without changing the text itself.
Clicking anywhere on the text turns on the bounding box.
For text, the bounding box does not show the center handles to modify the aspect ratio anymore, as this was tripping up users
Use shift-click to show those handles as well and for entering unconstrained mode (change text aspect ratio).
Double-clicking on a selected box turns into Text mode for quick text editing (“Escape” to quit mode).
Changing properties (text color, shadow etc..) when the bounding box is selected affects the entire text in the box (not a new behavior, just a reminder that you don’t need to do “Select All”)
No mode - When no mode is selected, you can still select a layer. As just mentioned above, you can change the properties of the entire text by selecting the box
* Keyboard shortcuts added for Bold, Underline, Italic, Group/Ungroup, Justification Left, Center, and Right, and Center of Screen
* Roll and Crawl Improvements (scroll bars to view the entire text)
* Vertical Typing

i want to make a commandline tool in python that just lists all our current nexis workspaces
what would be the api call to do that please?
i tried to follow the guidelines in the docs but didn't get very far i'm afraid.
I'm used to making api calls on the baselight and from web services (that i've written in flask) but so far i haven't fully "got" what i need to do with nexis (ie what users are allowed to do what etc etc)
all i want is a list though so surely i don't need massive root rights for just that?
i have access through the nexis client manager so i know i can list things that way but, y'know..workflow yadda yadda..

I'm running MC 2020.6 on a 2017 Macbook Pro OS 10.15.7
When I try to open Titler+ from the tools menu, I just get the "Dunk!" standard Mac error noise and nothing happens. Wheh I click the "T" icon, I get the message "Please install Titler 7"
I have installed titler 7, but by the looks of things, Avid Link can't see it. I clicked open in Avid Link, extracted the package, and then ran the installer. It has installed "TitlerStandalone" to a NewBlue folder in my documents. Is this where it should be? During install it won't let me select destinantion: it skips from license to installation type. I've tried rebooting, re-installing, re-downloading. Nothing seems to work. Avid Link still says "Open," which directs me to the install file etc...
Can anybody help?
I need to stay with a version of Avid that will play well with this older family - I'm trying to understand how this ecosystem works because I want to buy an early/late 2019 MacBook Pro to upgrade from my 2017. I don't want Avid 2020 nor something that can't easily share bins with Avids from earlier generations.
A reseller let me know that newer apple laptops ship with an OS that won't work with pre 2020 Avid. When I consult the version matrix, I see 2018 and 2019 versions, but I don't know how those correspond to version 8 (I started in 5.5).

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help.
I can't export any edited sequence as an .mov or m4p without getting the following error:
Assertion failed: FALSE file:builds/workspace/release_installer_git/mac build/ppg/Media Composer/AMAFI/AMAFIExportWidgets.cpp, Line 1465
I've looked up other similar issues on this forum but nothing quite matches this situation. One of the leading fixes mentioned is the deletion of the file dnxpacked.lua from the avid files...but my system doesn't have that file, just dnxuncompressed.lua and dnx.lua.

I wanted to add an intro to a song, so I highlighted all of the tracks and moved them 20 seconds to the right. I added the intro and it sounded great. Oddly, a vocal track (which is lined up perfectly fine) is playing 20 seconds early. This is so bizarre as the waveforms are where they should be. The vocal audio plays where there is no Waveform and where there is Waveform, there is no vocal audio. I've solo'ed it as well. I'm baffled. Any ideas?
Also, I saved the session, so I don't know how to go back to the way it was before. Is there a way to do this?

Just started using Avid 2020.6 on MacBook Pro 2017 OS 10.15.7 and keep having problems.
The latest is exporting my Seq to an H264 .mov. I use the mixer tool to change my various audio track levels, but when I export, it almost feels like these are being bypassed of ignored i.e.everything on the outputted .mov is played at it's default level. This means sync is generally a little quiet, Temp VO is way too quiest, and music is louder than everything.
Does anybody know what could be happening or how this could be resolved.

Is there a simple way to export a sequence containing multicam clips where the export shows both a-cam and b-cam? Because of remote workflow, each time I receive a day's shot material, I sync and stringout into a sequence and upload to frameIO for the rest of the team to view, but with multicam clips, the exports are obviously only showing the angle that's active on the timeline. I'm hoping there's some workaround for exporting these sequences to show both camera angles without having to go in and manually resize the image to show both angles in the export. Thanks!
I am running HP z840s with Decklink card.
But the Media Composer 2020 won't let me work with the Mbox 3 (USB) or Windows Mixer to get audio in IF I use the decklink to see my video -and have the voice-over artist see the video.
This used to work in older versions, but not anymore.
Also we run PCs so cannot use the new Avid boxes that need Thunderbolt-3 - and the Thunderbolt card for the HP z840 don't work.
There must be editors out there that do Voice over -and see the video.
Whenever I open Avid Link and click on profile in an attempt to log in, it gets stuck on initialising. One time I tried leaving it and after about half an hour it progressed to the login page, but whenever I entered my details and clicked log in it loaded for a while then said that an error occurred.
I've seen people with similar problems and tried some of the suggestions they were given, such as closing Avid Link and the helper app in Activity Monitor and reopening, but that didn't help. I even uninstalled and redownloaded Avid Link, and made sure my laptop was updated to the latest OS, but that hasn't worked either. Please help..!
So it's £380 ($385 via videoguys) to renew support for another year and £308 ($299) to cross grade to an annual subscription.
The 'support' is effectively an annual subscription anyway, and I can see that the cross grade only buys one year at the discounted rate (to encourage folks off the perpetual license?)
So what to do? Fact is that Productions has made Premiere much more usable, so I've been on that much more recently. I'm minded to let support lapse, stick with whatever Avid version is current, and think that I can always rent by the month/year if I ever need to get back on the horse.
Anything I'll lose by doing that?

I recently redeemed a code for a discounted version of Avid Media Composer Ultimate. It's been downloaded, installed, but when I click on the icon I can't open it:
"Login required for Media Composer / First. Please quit and login to Avid Link and relaunch Media Composer".
When I go on Avid Link, it says "Server Unavailable" and I get a spinning wheel when I try to login.
Any help?

I have a recording of a Zoom meeting and want to import it into Avid Media Composer. When I drag/drop the file, I get a message that it's not supported. I tried to use the "Import" feature, with similar failure. I am fairly new with this tool. Can someone help with some hints as to how to do this?
The format of the file is .mpg and it contains the following:
Stream 0: Audio
- Codec MPEG AAC Audo (mp4a)
- Channels: Stereo
- Sample rate: 32000 Hz
Stream 1: Video
- Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
- Resolution: 1280x720
- Frame rate: 25
